Blossom Asian Therapist Network (Canada)

Building community. Strengthening care. Supporting each other.

The Blossom Asian Therapist Network is a curated professional community for Asian-identifying licensed mental health professionals in Canada.

The Blossom Mental Health Fund is committed to investing in the long-term sustainability, visibility, and collective strength of Asian mental health professionals across the country. The creation of the Blossom Asian Therapist Network is one step toward that commitment.

For many Asian clinicians, professional life can feel isolating — navigating systems where we are underrepresented, building practices without culturally aligned referral networks and carrying the weight of community care without community infrastructure.

This network exists to change that.

Our vision is to cultivate a connected, collaborative ecosystem of Asian mental health professionals in Canada — one that strengthens referral pathways, supports supervision and consultation and fosters meaningful professional community across provinces and practice settings.

We believe that when Asian clinicians are supported, our communities are better served.

What this network offers:

  • A private Slack community for connection and collaboration

  • Referral exchange among Asian clinicians

  • Supervisor and supervision matching

  • Peer consultation and case reflection

  • Resource sharing (trainings, readings, funding opportunities)

  • Space for nuanced conversations around decolonial and anti-oppressive practice

This network is designed as a professional space for peer connection, referral coordination, supervision support and resource exchange. It is intended for thoughtful professional connection and collaboration among Asian clinicians practicing in Canada. We encourage members to engage in ways that support shared learning, responsible referral practices and community-building within the profession.
