Asian Therapist Network Member Agreement & Community Standards

1. Eligibility & Professional Standing

Members must:

  • Maintain active registration/licensure in their province (or appropriate qualifying status such as RP (Qualifying) where applicable)

  • Practice within their professional scope

  • Maintain professional liability insurance

2. Confidentiality

Confidentiality is non-negotiable.

Members agree to:

  • Share only de-identified case information

  • Avoid sharing any identifying client details

  • Not screenshot, distribute, or copy content from the network without permission

This space is confidential but does not replace your clinical documentation obligations.

3. Scope & Clinical Responsibility

This network:

  • Supplements but does not replace formal supervision

  • Does not constitute clinical consultation responsibility transfer

  • Does not create supervisory or employment relationships

Members remain fully responsible for their own clinical decisions.

4. Referral Integrity

When responding to referral requests:

  • Ensure availability and scope alignment

  • Avoid misrepresenting credentials

  • Only refer within your competency

  • Disclose if you have a financial relationship tied to the referral

5. Professional Conduct

Members agree to:

  • Engage respectfully across diverse Asian identities, cultures, and lived experiences

  • Avoid discriminatory language

  • Participate in good faith

  • Address conflicts professionally

6. No Solicitation / Commercial Use

This network is not:

  • A marketing list

  • A recruitment funnel

  • A data-harvesting opportunity

Unsolicited outreach, list scraping, or spam will result in removal.

7. Moderation

Moderation decisions are final.

The network reserves the right to:

  • Remove members who violate standards

  • Update guidelines as the network evolves

  • Protect the psychological safety of the group
